اليابان تسلم معدات طبية إلى جمعية جمزو الخيرية

أقيم حفل تسليم المعدات الطبية يوم الاربعاء 26 حزيران، بحضور السيد أوكوياما جيرو، سفير اليابان لدى المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية والسيد سمير عبد الجواد، رئيس جمعية جمزو الخيرية.
في ايلول 2023، قدمت حكومة اليابان منحة قدرها اثنان وسبعون ألفاً ومائتان وخمسة وأربعون دولاراً أمريكياً (72,245 دولاراً أمريكياً) لجمعية جمزو الخيرية؛ وذلك لتوفير معدات طبية في إطار برنامج المنح اليابانية لمشاريع الأمن الإنساني على المستوى الشعبي (GGP).
وتهدف هذه المنحة إلى تحسين جودة الخدمات الطبية المقدمة في المركز الطبي في الزرقاء من خلال توفير جهاز الموجات فوق الصوتية وجهاز الأشعة البانورامي للأسنان وجهاز استشعار الأشعة السينية للأسنان.
جمعية جمزو الخيرية، والتي تقدم خدمات طبية وتعليمية ومساعدات نقدية للمحتاجين في المجتمع الأردني وللاجئين، قامت بافتتاح مركز طبي في عام 2011 في الزرقاء. ومنذ ذلك الحين، قدمت الجمعية خدمات طبية للأشخاص المستضعفين بأسعار رمزية أو مجاناً.
وفي الخطاب الذي ألقاه خلال حفل التسليم، أعرب السفير أوكوياما عن تقديره لمساهمة الجمعية في المجتمع وقال: ” في الأردن، تلعب المراكز الطبية ذات الأسعار المعقولة دوراً حاسماً للأشخاص المستضعفين والذين يعانون من ارتفاع معدلات البطالة والفقر. وبالأخص في الزرقاء، حيث يُقدر معدل الفقر فيها بأكثر من 30٪، وهو أعلى من المعدل الوطني.
وعلاوة على ذلك، لا يقدر العديد من أفراد المجتمع الأقل حظاً من الحصول على الرعاية الطبية لعدم شمولهم بالتأمين الصحي العام. ولذلك، فإن وجود مراكز طبية مثل مركز جمزو أمر لا غنى عنه لتمكين الفئات المستضعفة من السكان من الحصول على الخدمات الطبية المناسبة”.
في إطار المنح اليابانية لمشاريع الأمن الإنساني على المستوى الشعبي GGP، قدمت اليابان أكثر من 10 ملايين دولار أمريكي لـ159 مشروعاً للمنظمات غير الحكومية والمدارس والمستشفيات والبلديات في الأردن منذ عام 1993.
Japan hands over Medical Equipment to the Jemzo Charity Association

The handover ceremony of medical equipment was held on Wednesday 26th of June, in the presence of Mr. OKUYAMA Jiro, Ambassador of Japan to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Mr. Sameer Abd-Aljawad, Chairman of the Jemzo Charity Association.
In September 2023, the Government of Japan extended a grant of seventy-two thousand two hundred and forty-five US dollars (US$ 72,245) to the Jemzo Charity Association for medical equipment under the scheme called Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects (GGP).
This grant assistance aims to enhance the quality of medical services provided at the medical center in Zarqa, through the provision of a new Ultrasound, Panoramic Dental X-ray, and Intraoral Digital Imaging Sensor. Jemzo Charity Association, which provides medical, educational, and financial support to underprivileged Jordanians and refugees, opened a medical center in Zarqa in 2011. Since then, they have been providing medical services to vulnerable people at an affordable price or free of charge.
In the speech delivered during the handover ceremony, Ambassador OKUYAMA expressed his gratitude to the Jemzo Charity Association for its important contribution to society and stated: “In Jordan, affordable medical centers play a crucial role for the vulnerable people due to the high unemployment and poverty rates. In particular, the poverty rate in Zarqa is estimated to be over 30%, higher than the national average, and many of the most vulnerable members of society are unable to access medical care because they are not covered by public health insurance. Therefore, the existence of medical centers like Jemzo is indispensable for vulnerable populations to receive proper medical services.”
Under Japanese Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects, Japan has extended more than 10 million US Dollars for 159 projects to non-governmental organizations, schools, hospitals, and local governments in Jordan since 1993.
